The use of silverwares, play a significant role in Cambodian culture, as they are often considered as a luxury item in the home. Similar to their sericulture, the making of exquisite silver objects can be dated back since ancient times. Today, the current techniques used for making silverware is quite relatable to that of their past. Therefore, the hardware for the bags have been designed and handmade in Cambodia, preserving such ancient techniques.
